  • be aged between 18 and 35 on the day you apply to join the WHP,
  • be a French citizen and reside in France (Metropolitan France, the French overseas departments and regions and St. Pierre and Miquelon only),
  • hold a valid French passport (validity must extend at least one day after the return date),
  • be enrolled in a college or training centre,
  • not have previously participated in this category,
  • have health and repatriation insurance which is valid for the duration of the stay
