APRIL International has welcomed its overall 5 Star award in the inaugural Health & Protection’s International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) Report published a few days ago. The survey was carried out amongst over 200 specialist IPMI brokers worldwide in 2021.
APRIL International n°1 in international health insurance for brokers
With an overall score of 88.2 out of 100, APRIL International was rated top by the 200+ brokers canvassed across all seven categories in the research:
- Appreciating and developing my business (90%)
- Claims handling (85.9%)
- Compliance support (84.4%)
- Ease of use of adviser-facing technology (81.5%)
- Quote and application support (93%)
- Speed of response to queries (94.8%)
- Staff expertise and problem solving (92.2%)
The top award was achieved in the key business centred categories of staff expertise and speed of response. Many brokers emphasise these strengths as essential to fostering and developing a long-term client relationship.
Isabelle Moins, CEO of APRIL International in Europe, commented: "We are committed to offering 24/7 local support and a seamless experience to all our partners and policyholders. Our objective is simple: to be available at all times through our various offices around the world to support our policyholders in the event of a difficult situation, and to offer them digital services to simplify all their day-to-day procedures. In the current health context, we are doing everything we can to facilitate international mobility and we are therefore very pleased with this award, which rewards the work of all our teams."
Joe Thomas, Managing Director of APRIL International UK, continued, "We are delighted to have been awarded the top prize in this authoritative survey. It is testament to the solid foundations the team in London have been building over the last few years and a reflection of our wider international Group strength. International private medical insurance was thrust into the limelight at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and going forward, we believe it will have been permanently moved up priority lists in terms of a “must have” for employers, students and families living and working abroad."
In an increasingly complex international context, APRIL International will continue to support expatriates, companies and students to facilitate their international mobility projects, whatever their destination and the duration of their stay abroad.
